What data we collect and why

We collect only the data necessary to run the app:

• Account information — name, email address, and date of birth, collected when you create an account. Date of birth is used solely to determine age eligibility for features and is not shared with third parties beyond what is stated below.
• Prediction data — the scores you predict for football matches. This is stored on your device and used to calculate points and display results in leagues you participate in.
• League data — private leagues you create or join, including league names and member counts.
• Community content — posts, comments, reactions, display names, profile details, and associated dates and identifiers. We process this information to publish community features and maintain conversation history.
• Safety and moderation data — reports you submit or that concern you or your content, including the reported content or player, the selected reason, any details you provide, timestamps, review status, and action taken. We use this information to investigate concerns, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and keep the community safe.
• Block data — the accounts you block and related identifiers. We use this information to hide blocked players and their content from your experience and to let you manage your block list.
• Device identifiers — used by our authentication provider to keep you securely signed in.

Community visibility and moderation

Community posts, comments, reactions, display names, and profile information are visible to other users as part of the community service. Reports and block lists are not made public. We process reports and relevant account and content information to assess possible breaches, take moderation action, respond to appeals or support requests, and protect users and the service.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — handles account creation, sign-in, and session management. Processes your email address, name, and date of birth. See clerk.com/privacy.
• RevenueCat — will be used to process in-app purchases if and when paid competition features are introduced. No payment data is processed at launch. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Expo (EAS) — used to build and deliver the app. See expo.dev/privacy.

Paid competitions

Paid competitions are not available at launch. If and when they are introduced, we will update this policy and notify you before collecting any additional data required for age verification or payment processing.

Data storage and retention

Prediction and league data is stored locally on your device using your device's storage. Account data is held by Clerk on servers located within the European Economic Area and United Kingdom.

We retain your account data and community content while your account is active, unless you delete the content or it is removed sooner. Block relationships are kept until you unblock the player or the relevant account is deleted. Reports and moderation records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve the concern, enforce our Terms, prevent repeat abuse, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations. Limited backup copies may remain for a short period before being securely deleted or overwritten.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Delete Your Account. We may retain a minimal moderation, fraud-prevention, or legal record where necessary for safety or compliance, and will delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Children's privacy

The app requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
