What data we collect and why

We collect only the data necessary to run the app:

• Account information — name, email address, and date of birth, collected when you create an account. Date of birth is used solely to determine age eligibility for features and is not shared with third parties beyond what is stated below.
• Prediction data — the scores you predict for football matches. This is stored on your device and used to calculate points and display results in leagues you participate in.
• League data — private leagues you create or join, including league names and member counts.
• Device identifiers — used by our authentication provider to keep you securely signed in.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — handles account creation, sign-in, and session management. Processes your email address, name, and date of birth. See clerk.com/privacy.
• RevenueCat — will be used to process in-app purchases if and when paid competition features are introduced. No payment data is processed at launch. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Expo (EAS) — used to build and deliver the app. See expo.dev/privacy.

Paid competitions

Paid competitions are not available at launch. If and when they are introduced, we will update this policy and notify you before collecting any additional data required for age verification or payment processing.

Data storage and retention

Prediction and league data is stored locally on your device using your device's storage. Account data is held by Clerk on servers located within the European Economic Area and United Kingdom.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Delete Your Account.

Children's privacy

The app requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
